About Program
For women empowerment, Ministry started “Nai Roshni”, a Leadership Development Programme for Minority Women in 2012-13. The objective of the scheme is to empower and instil confidence among minority women, including their neighbours from other communities living in the same village / locality, by providing knowledge, tools and techniques for interacting with Government systems, banks and other institutions at all levels.
Aparajita Mahila Sangh has implemented program in year 2015 and 2018 at Indore and Khandwa districts.
Target Area and community
Aparajita Mahila Sangh conducted Leadership Skill Development Programs for 125 women members of minority community of Indore city. Following topics covered under the programs –
Outcome / Results
Aparajita Mahila Sangh imparted trainings to 250 candidates in 10 batches including 125-125 members & 5-5 batches each at Indore and Khandwa districts. These members linked with banks for funding for self-employment. Aparajita Mahila Sangh team helped them to solve their family issues and helped them to get benefits of Govt. Schemes i.e. BPL, Pension, Scholarship etc.
